Intellectual Defense Of the Christian Faith:

The Intellectual Basis of the Judeo-Christian Faith: Biblical Christian faith is not just wishful thinking or gullibility. Rather, it is based on the evidence from the universe itself and from history. And because of modern cosmology and archaeology, the evidence in this modern age of secularism is stronger than ever before.

The Blind Leap of Atheists and Agnostics: Contrary to PC opinion, it is not the Judeo-Christianity that requires a blind leap of “faith”, but rather the secularists who live their lives based upon innumerable presuppositions that are not intellectually tenable.

Kaalam’s Cosmological Argument for the Existence of God. How Does The Bible Defend Itself and Belief In Its God? Doesn’t It Simply Presume God? Well, yes, but only when it is addressing believers. Throughout the entire Biblical record, whenever non-believers are being addressed, evidence is presented in order to give those non-believers an intellectual basis for faith.

How Does One Choose A Religion? Quite Simply, The Same Way Any Other Question of Fact Is Settled: Based On The Evidence. All the world religions argue for themselves in one of four ways: through subjective preferences (“I like it”), through introspection (another form of subjectivism), through false dilemma (we prove we are true by proving some other religion is wrong), or through evidence. The only major world religion that bases its truth claims on evidence is the Christian faith.

How Does One Know Jesus Christ Is God? Primarily The Same Way We Know Almost All That We Know: The Evidence of History. History not only is a reliable science, it is the foundation of all the other sciences. History, like all sciences, is only as ambiguous as is the evidence. And Jesus Christ’s life and works is the most attested to event in all of the history of antiquity.

Science and Faith: Their Relationship. Contrary to popular belief, rather than weakening the arguments for the Christian faith, the scientific revolution has strengthened the Christian faith’s claims compared to other religions because of the emphasis science has brought to verifiable evidence. The scientific revolution occurred in the West due to its Christian world-view, and the scientific revolution was driven by devout Christian thinkers. The “war between science and Christianity” is predominantly a myth.

The Conflict Between Science and The Biblical Account of Creation: There is Only A Conflict When Either Bad Science Or Bad Biblical Interpretation is done. Even if one believes in classical evolution, there is no reason that this contradicts literal belief in the Bible account of creation whose language does not require that “day” (“yom” in the Hebrew) means a 24-day. “Yom” is actually used in the Genesis account for the entire creation process.

The Death of Darwinian Evolution: Though High School and Junior High teachers, as well as many lower level students in the sciences, still believe the myth, the Darwinian theory of continuous evolution from a primordial soup all the way to man, is a theory that is in crisis at the higher echelons of science because of the evidence against it from genetics and other sciences, and because of the lack of evidence of trans-species evolution over the 140+ years since Darwin published his theory.

The Challenge of Modern Theology to Christian Faith: It Is Modern Theology That Is A Faith That Contradicts The Evidence of History Rather Than The Bible. Modern theology was born based on anti-Semitism rather than fact. And now, largely unknown to theologians, it has been refuted by literary and linguistic sciences and by modern archaeology.

The primary purpose of families of a husband, wife, and children is to protect women and children and to teach children how to function in the world and in society. When traditional families break down, humans are less healthy and productive, and society begins to disintegrate.

The feeling of love is the result of building bonds, and the more bonds a family builds, the stronger is that feeling.

The Differences Between Men and Women and the Difference It Makes In The Lives of Husbands, Wives, and Children. Modern brain science has demonstrated what non-leftist academics have always known: the differences between men and women are not just in the shape of the body. The hard wiring in men and women’s brains is significantly different, and this makes a vital difference in the lives of fathers, mothers, and children if both a mother and father are not present in the home.

What’s the big thing about monogamy? What is sex after all but a biological drive? Well, sex is the only biological drive that requires the participation of another person, i.e., that has a social component. Just as affection is the non-verbal language of love for family and friends, sex is the non-verbal language of unique love that says to your mate: “There is no one that I love, or ever will love, as I love you.”

Isn’t Marriage A Personal Commitment? Why Do You Need A Legal Document? How Do I Know We Are Ready To Get Married? Marriage is not just a covenant between two people or, for believers, between themselves and God. It is also a covenant with their community that thereafter the community can see the couple as a unit, as mates who have made a unique commitments to one another, and that the community can respond to them accordingly.

Isn’t homosexuality normal and congenital? Simply, no. The evidence of this media myth was spurious and has been repudiated by the evidence. The evidence is that homosexuality, particularly male homosexuality, is an obsessive-compulsive disorder that is easily treatable with modern meds for OCD.

Ethics and Morality:

The abolition of ethics and morality. Absolute morality is essential if a culture is to remain moral and productive. All subjective and relativistic ethical systems in time fail both intellectually and practically.

“Values Education” is the elimination of values. It replaces objective moral standards that control us in spite of our feelings and wishes with the glorification of our feelings and desires. Instead of being controlled by truth, we become our own truth.
